If you receive “licensing” or “disconnected” errors while trying to access Bentley programs, try the steps below to correct the problem.
Verify License
- Click on the “Start” button and select “All Programs.”
- Navigate to “Bentley” in the list.
- Click on the program and then select “Municipal License Administrator.”
- Click on “Tools” from the menu bar and select “Options.”
- A window will appear with the Bentley license information. To verify your license,
click on the “Verify” button.
- The following notification should appear “Select Server and Activation Key
verified.”
- When finished, click on the “OK” button to exit.
Set Defaults
- Please follow the steps above to access the “Municipal License Administrator”
- Click on the “Refresh Configurations” button
- The programs that are listed may vary depending on what is installed.
- Please select each program to highlight the name and then click on the “Make
Default” button. Please only select one Bentley WaterCAD as a default.
- Exit when finished.
Send Logs
- Click on the “Start” button and select “All Programs.”
- Navigate to “Bentley” in the list.
- Click on the program and then select “License Management Tool.”
- Click on “Tools” from the menu bar and select “Send Logs Now.”
- Exit when finished.
