Importing points through the Survey Database will allow the import of linework to be available
to other users, and add a level of security to the points that are stored in Vault.
POINT FILE LOCATION
The point file that will be used to import points into the drawings shall be located within the vaulted project. To do this, follow the following steps:
- Keep an unedited, as-processed (Trimble) original in the project’s SV\Processed Data folder on the network.
- The actual imported (edited and/or corrected) survey event in the Project WIP. The file WILL be located under the RETTEWWIP here: “project name”\Support\SV\FieldData.
- The .txt or .csv file needs to be checked into Vault.
